Debbie is a multi-disciplined therapist based in London, UK, practising acupuncture, massage and mindfulness. With a down to earth approach Debbie is adept at handling the full spectrum of human experience, and specialises in stress, anxiety, depression and life-challenging transitions.
Since 1995 Debbie has practised and studied mindfulness meditation within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and nurtured a desire to integrate this with her work life. This became a reality when in 2008 she teamed up with Tessa Watt and Ed Halliwell to create Being Mindful – a successful Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) business which has helped over a thousand participants move from stress and anxiety to health and well being via mindfulness techniques.
Between 2013 and 2015 Debbie spent 18 months ‘on the road’ as a personal assistant to >Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, an eminent teacher, writer and thought leader in the field of mindfulness meditation. Drawing on the many years of her own practice, research and study, along with 8 years of teaching MBSR, Debbie has a unique intuitive approach to healing on all levels.
