I've been doing Amit's Basic DVD for ages & I'm so glad I decided to join you all online now - as someone with arthritis and fibromyalgia, Pilates is definitely the perfect exercise for me. As I have fibromyalgia I usually use the short 10 minute classes and even on occasions the postnatal ones! As I am feeling a little stronger I tried this class tonight and really enjoyed it, although I don't think I will ever conquer the roll up! Great instructions and cueing as always Amit, thank-you.

hi EDI A, i'm glad to hear you're now enjoying the classes. if the videos still take a long time to load, you can always try to switch from streaming to progressive downloading.
You can do that by start playing the video and then right-click on the screen.
In the dialogue box that opens select 'switch media to progressive'.
Selecting this option will start downloading the video instead of streaming it.
The video will remain in the memory and you can play it as long as the browser is open.

Hi Joanne. Thanks for your Lovely comment and welcome to PilatesOD :) Streaming is a tricky business and as you know it will depend on one's broadband speed as well as demand in the area at any given moment in time. Luckily it gets better and better all the time! If you have difficulties again try to press play on the video and then right click the screen (video itself) and choose 'Switch media to progressive'. This will temporarily download the video to your computer and will allow you to see it without interruptions. If you have any other issues please don't hesitate to drop us an email!

Great basics class & great first class with Pilates OD - Thank you Amit! Very clear and easy to follow instructions especially when the screen is not so easy to see at times when lying down. Small tech issue - kept starting and stopping. I tried both Mozilla and IE. After holding on pause for a couple of mins, it caught up so all good in the end.

Hi Catherine. I am very happy that you have enjoyed the class and find it so clear :) As for the Roll Ups... That is a very common question... I would guess that you have tight low back and tight hip flexors that make this exercise challenging... Keep working on it and don't feel bad about keeping your knees soft or a little bent and really focus on rolling the pelvis and articulating your spine one vertebrae at a time. Let me know how it goes. Amit
