Pilates Class 282
Swimming is a fantastic form of exercise due the fact that it is non-weight bearing, so there is very little jarring on the spine, and it is also great for the core. However people do suffer with injuries to their shoulders, as well as to their back, knees, elbows and ankles. This is a short class designed specifically to wake up the shoulders, chest, abdominals and legs; and to get your torso rotating and side stretching. It also includes a section on ankle mobilization, which we often forget is an integral part of our kicking motion. Please have a big folded towel or a thick cushion next to you for one of the exercises.
